					Crestone Peak and Needle Guided Mountaineering with Instruction
	Under permit from the USFS, we offer guided climbs of Colorado's premier14,000 foot peak, Crestone Needle. Starting with a technical climbing review at the Ranch, we provide 4x4 transportation to a camp high in South Colony. Early next morning, we attempt the assent of this difficult peak. This two day adventure provides detailed instruction in mountaineering, route finding and safety for an unforgettable climb without logistical hassle. Custom climbs/insruction can be arranged to fit your need and budget. Rated Strenuous 2 Days $400 (minimum of two) Departures: by request Gary Ziegler has taught climbing and safety to Outward bound, US Army Special Forces and the Peace Corps. He has guided National Geographic climbing/filming expeditions and holds the first ascents of seven Ice peaks in Peru over 18,000 ft. plus numerous new routes and acsents in the American southwest.
